Brake service is the top safety concern for drivers today, and to repair or replace them is relatively cheap.
“You know what it’s like to hit your brakes for a sudden stop. When was the last time a mechanic did brake service on your car?”
We’ve all been in a situation, driving the busy streets of downtown Salt Lake City, when a cyclist comes
out of nowhere and we are forced to hit our brakes. While general car service & repairs are always
important, Low Book Sales wants to remind you that when it comes to brakes, neglect could be costly.
Bring your car into our shop today for a certified mechanic inspection.
• ASE Certified Mechanics - Although your brakes may perform well in fair weather, you should get
them checked by a certified mechanic at one of our Utah shops as worn brakes are more
problematic in severe weather.
• Brakes and Utah Winters - Any mechanic will tell you that brake service increases as winter
approaches because, much as a bear knows to hibernate, the savvy driver knows that it’s time to
bring their car to the shop for service. This is especially true of Salt Lake City and other areas of
Utah, where the weather can be a bear itself.
• The law of STOP and Go - Part of your annual safety inspection requires that your brakes be in
proper working condition as inspected by a professional mechanic. Every state, including Utah,
requires a vehicle to pass an annual safety inspection. This is done to reduce the risk of safety related
crashes due to vehicles in poor repair.
If you need brake service, bring your car to our fully equipped shop with ASE certified mechanics, and your
safety inspection and emissions test will be on us.
*Using the 10% discount for brakes service / repairs cannot be combined with the FREE State Safety and Emissions test. Offer good at participating repair shops in Utah. Call dealer for details.
